Sotheby’s is honored to support the Liaisons au Louvre, which is now in its fourth edition, bringing together like minded people from around the world who also wish to support one of the world’s most important art museums and one of Italy’s foremost protectors of cultural heritage. This year the reach of the event has been extended to benefit two organizations, American and International Friends of the Louvre and Venetian Heritage. One of the highlights of the events in both Paris and Venice will be live auctions of contemporary art donated by some of today’s leading artists as well as exceptional private travel experiences contributed by generous benefactors.
