Celebrating Asia Week in New York with Art-Inspired Drinks and Bites Curated by Danielle Chang

Launch Slideshow

On 18 March, the directors of the Asian Art departments at Sotheby’s welcomed guests to a reception and private viewing of the Asia Week exhibitions in New York. The night began with lectures by Colin Mackenzie, Curator of Chinese Art at the Art Institute of Chicago, and Jeff Watt, Scholar and Curator of Tibetan and Himalayan Art. LUCKYRICE founder and Lucky Chow host, Danielle Chang, created a delectable menu of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres inspired by the lots on offer, which ranged from a family verte peach-form wine pot from the Qing dynasty to a classical painting by Qi Baishi. Ahead, step inside the Asia Week exhibitions and experience some of Chang’s expertly curated bites.
