During a half century of collecting Marceau Rivière has established a group of works which bring together many of the varying stylistic corpora of sub-Saharan Africa: artworks from the Ivory Coast – Baule, Dan and Guro as well as iconic examples of Fang, Kota and Kongo art. Ahead of the Collection Marceau Rivière sale in Paris from 18-19 June, we asked Sotheby's specialist Pierre Mollfulleda to pick his favorite pieces that are estimated under €10,000. Whether you are an established collector or want to start your own African art collection, there is a piece for you in this sale. Click the image above to view the slideshow.
