We have four very rare releases from the Ornellaia Vendemmia d’Artista project in this auction. My personal favorite is the 2010 done in collaboration with Michelangelo Pistoletto. The bottle is decorated with Pistoletto’s signature reflective theme. An exceptional vintage for Ornellaia and also a great centerpiece for your cellar. —Richard Young
Lokoya, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spring Mountain, Napa Valley 2015 (3 BT)
Lokoya Wines focuses on only the mountain terroir of Napa Valley. The wines have this freshness and vibrancy that makes them very unique. The 2015 Spring Mountain is in a great spot to enjoy right now but can surely age for decades. —Richard Young
Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Case Basse 1999 Soldera (12 BT)
There are some producers that elevate a region and make wine in their respective region that stands apart. For me, that producer was Gianfranco Soldera. Sadly, he passed in 2019. Having case quantities of his 1999 Riserva is quite special. This wine shows elegance and delicacy, which are words rarely used to describe Brunello di Montalcino. If you are a Burgundy lover and open to trying something new, this wine will be a welcome discovery. —Alex Cubbage
Hermitage Rouge 1989 Jean-Louis Chave (6 BT)
If you ask lovers of Jean Louis Chave’s famous Hermitage Rouge to name their favorite vintage, most say 1990. But you should go for the 1989 – it’s stellar, with notes of roasted meats, spices, dried herbs and roasted coffee beans interlaced with red and dark berry fruits. The 1989 is cheaper, and my favorite. —Alex Cubbage

The 1986 Margaux is not only one of the star wines for the château but also a stand out for the vintage. It’s drinking well and an excellent way to celebrate friends born in 1986. —Allen Morgan
Malmsey 1933 Vinhos Justino Henriques (6 BT)
This richer-style Madeira is made from one of the region’s noble grapes and by one of its most historic producers. The naturally high acidity of Malmsey keeps these wines fresh for decades, even centuries. Expect endless complexity – coffee, caramel, toffee and a touch of sweetness. —Lukas Dempsey
Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 1960 Marqués de Murrieta (5 BT)
The flagship wine of Rioja icon Marqués de Murrieta, Castillo Ygay, is made only in the greatest of vintages. The fruit here is always sourced from the legendary La Plana vineyard, which sits at a higher altitude and produces wines with tremendous finesse and ageability. —Lukas Dempsey
Gevrey Chambertin, Lavaux St. Jacques 2003 Denis Mortet (8 BT)
2003 is one of the final vintages made by legendary winemaker Denis Mortet. His wines rose to prominence in the 1990s, achieving cult status before Denis’ untimely death in 2006. A full-bodied style of Gevrey-Chambertin, these wines possess elegance, richness and a dense fruit core. —Lukas Dempsey
Dunn Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon, Howell Mountain 1982 (6 BT)
Dunn Vineyards is one of my favorite Napa Valley producers because of their ability to age gracefully. This wine should be a part of every collector’s cellar and we have some great vintages to choose from, as well as mixed lots to get you started with an extensive vertical. The 1982 Howell mountain is a classic – great for all those retrospective new and old-world tastings, giving old-world a real run for its money. —Walt Oggero
