A fantastic addition to our American Studio Design chapter is the stunning ensemble of works by George Nakashima from the estate of Stanford Buchsbaum. Commissioned directly from the artist by the current owner, those works have remained in the same hands since they were originally acquired. The offering is distinguishable by its superlative craftsmanship, its great variety of forms as well as the superb condition in which they are presently offered.
Born into a collecting family with an illustrious presence in the arts, Ryan Brant was raised in an environment of creativity and aesthetic stimulation. The Collection of Ryan Brant is a careful assemblage which provides perspective for other collectors to experience the cutting-edge aesthetic environment in which Brant lived.
