Portraiture of the Primitive Society原始面貌

Humanoid bottles and vessels decorated with human heads are rare but important pottery from the Neolithic period. The human form is the most primitive representation of civilisation, as these could be seen as portraiture of contemporary society. Various depictions of either the female figure, or a more masculine attempt of the human face which could distantly link with warfare or religious faces of shamen all belong to a piece of life in the Neolithic society.

新石器人首瓶非常罕有，深具歷史意義。這些珍貴的文物是當時社會的寫照，是人類文明最原始的表現形式，當中有女性人像，也有比較男性化的人面紋飾，靈感來自祭師容貌、部族戰爭等等，從中可以推斷新石器時代的生活點滴。
