10-inch replaced black velvet dial with gilt chapter ring with every minute numbered, held aloft by a reclining figure of Chronos on a plaque signed Claude Raillard A Paris, centre seconds, the similarly signed movement with five tapered pillars, weight-driven going train with later dead beat escapement with depth adjustment to the pallets, spring barrel to the striking train with numbered outside count wheel striking on the top-mounted bell, the case with arched top and corner herms above a slender trunk with glazed lenticle, on a later moulded base; (regilt)
