rectangular, the lid applied with an enamel plaque painted with a mythological subject, flanked by chased floral bands centred with classical masks, the sides and base decorated with concentric and chevron engine-turning, within bright blue opaque foliate taille d’épargne enamel borders, maker’s mark JO in rectangle, further struck 18k for 18 carat gold
