Description

rectangular, the lid and base centred with a rectangular panel of unusual geometric engine-turning of elliptical bands around leaves within concentric reeding, surrounded by alternating bands of reeded rose-gold and chevron engine-turned yellow gold, framed by cornflower blue opaque taille d'épargne enamel borders decorated with leafy sprigs and chased anthemion roundels to corners, the sides similarly decorated, two wheel marks to lid and base, similar to those seen on boxes by Gustav Wancke, Berlin control mark for 20ct gold,
