executed in pen and ink, overall size c.32.2 x 25cm, in a folding mount, no place or date (dated on the reverse in an unidentified hand "20 Janvier 1904"), some creasing, a few tiny indentations to outer edge of mount


In December 1903, Pierre Curie, together with his wife Marie and Henri Becquerel, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics. See previous lot.
