signed lower right A. Constantin 1819, and signed to the far left A. Constantin, painted to reverse Le Mariage de S.te Catherine par A. Constantin pour le Manufre Royale de Sèvres 1819, blue interlaced Ls surmounted by a coronet, incised P et D 8 bre 1819, within a malachite inlaid gilt-bronze frame

overall framed 64.9 x 62.8 cm.

sight dimension: 57 x 55cm; plaque only at back: 60.2 x 55.5 cm.

Acquired on 4th March 1820 by Monsieur Alexis De Lahante (or Delahante);
In the possession of George IV at Carlton House from 3rd June 1826 to 9th August 1827.
