Known for her collaboration with Sweet Tee on the 1986 hit single, "It's My Beat", and her work with DJ Whiz Kid, Digable Planets, and Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam, DJ Jazzy Joyce is one of the most influential female Hip Hop DJs of all time. Hailing from the Bronx, she enjoyed a storied career as a mainstay DJ on the iconic NYC radio station, Hot 97.
