A pair of Dutch silver mounted pier mirrors, attributed to Nicolaas van Diemen, Amsterdam, second half 18th century
of elongated, rectangular form, the silver mounted on a wood core, the corners applied with culots flanked by flowers and foliage, the long sides centred by a medallion within typical rococo ornaments, indistinctly stamped: Maker's mark: Nicolaas van Diemen (circa 1712 Amsterdam 1783), Amsterdam, between 1752-1783, NDI.

de forme rectangulaire allongée, montés sur une âme en bois, les angles appliqués de motifs de fleurs et de feuillages, les côtés centrés d'un médaillon dans des ornements typiquement rocaille, indistinctement marqué : Poinçon de maitre : Nicolaas van Diemen (circa 1712 Amsterdam 1783), Amsterdam, entre 1752-1783, NDI.
