A Dutch silver tobacco box, Philippus Jacobus Kops, Middelburg, 1759
of shaped oblong form with moulded borders, the flat-topped, raised cover with central panel applied with scroll and foliage ornament between two scroll and foliate cartouches containing punched star ornament, the base with similar cartouches flanking a central engraved star in a circle, in the style of Daniel Marot., stamped, on the rim (overstruck (possiby with second town mark) and indistinct)
