Yamaha DX7 Digital Programmable, Algorithm Synthesizer, used in the Grateful Dead 


Synthesizer (40 x 3.5 x 12’’). Serial number: 51573.


Introduced in 1983, the DX7 featured a new type of synthesis called Frequency Modulation. The model is sought after today for its uniquely percussive and near-analog sound.
