1) Grand Trio pour le Pianoforte, Violin et Violoncelle, Op. 93, Berlin: E.H.G. Christiani [c. 1820-1822], FIRST EDITION, parts for piano, violin and cello (25, 6 & 6 pp.), engraved without plate number unbound, small tears and foxing to title [Zimmerschied p. 138];


2) Grande-Sonate pour le piano-forte à quatre mains Op. 92, Vienna: A. Diabelli et Comp, 51 pages, plate number C. & D. 670, [c. 1825]; bound with--Nocturne à quatre mains Op. 99, FIRST EDITION, Leipzig: au Bureau de musique de C. F. Peters, 27 pages, oblong 4to, including the separate parts for 2 horns ("Corno Primo [... Secondo] in F. ad libitum"), 2 copies (each [4] pages), upright 4to (c. 33.5 x 26.5cm), all engraved with plate number 1764, [c. 1824]--together with an edition for piano duet of Mozart's string quintet K. 593 (Simrock); 3 editions in one volume, oblong 4to, (24.5 x 33cm), contemporary marbled boards, manuscript label to cover, ownership inscription ("Lichtenstein"), [Zimmerschied, p. 144];

Peters, [before 1844]; 12) Rondeau brillant Op. 109, Vienna: Haslinger, lithographed (later C19), together with other early arrangements of music by Hummel, and arrangements by Hummel of music by Mozart 


This first edition of the Nocturne Op. 99 includes the rarely-encountered ad libitum horn parts--not mentioned by Zimmerschied, but called for in the publisher's label affixed to the first page ("On peut aussi accompagner ce Nocturne avec deux Cors dont la Musique est ci-jointe") and engraved with the same plate number.


J.N. Hummel (1778-1837) lodged with Mozart in Vienna c.1786-1787, as his pupil, and in return later taught Mozart's son Franz Xaver Wolfgang.
