4to (203 x 146mm.), 20 leaves, a-b8 c4, roman type, modern calf tooled in period style
Savonarola addresses his preface to Filippo Valori, a Florentine nobleman who had supported Savonarola's desire for independence for the convent of San Marco from the Lombard Congregation of Dominicans. Savonarola's commentary on the Lord's Prayer was originally written in around 1484 and revised before its first publication in Italian in 1492.
