2 leaves, 164 pages, oblong folio (26.1 x 34.5cm), type-set music, plate number 2286, text in Italian and German, blank paper label to upper cover, upper and lower covers of original publisher's printed green wrappers bound in, nineteenth-century half calf, very small area of paper loss to p.3, affecting the musical text, vertical crease to first leaf of music, some spotting and browning, trimmed by the binder, slightly affecting the pagination in a few places


The first edition of the vocal score was published in 1797 by Schmid and Rauh, followed in the same year by a vocal score arrangement by A.E. Müller for Breitkopf; an edition of the full score did not appear until 1805.
