3 volumes, 8vo (218 x 140mm.), LARGE PAPER COPY, half-titles, woodcut headpieces, engraved frontispiece portrait of the author, 9 engraved plates after Marillier EACH IN TWO STATES (avec et avant la lettre), with final blank leaf in volumes 1 and 3, green morocco gilt by Derome with his ticket dated 1785, triple gilt fillet border, flat spine gilt in compartments, gilt edges, tiny hole in H8 of vol.2, lower cover of vol.2 and upper cover (and first few leaves) of vol. 3 water-damaged, spines slightly faded, extremities slightly rubbed


With the price code of the bookseller Guillaume-Luc Bailly, "Eop" (i.e. 84 livres), written at the foot of the rear flyleaf.
