A fine and tall copy of Coypel's illustrations to Don Quixote, in an early state of the plates, without the plate number below the caption. The paper size here is larger than the standard quarto edition (usually around 270mm. tall), but taller copies of around 330mm. have been recorded.
The accompanying text does not contain the full novel, but just the text for the principal scenes which are depicted in the plates.
