8vo (214 x 142 mm). Half-title, text printed in double column, publisher's ads on pp. 139-144; lightly toned, occasional minor soiling, a few candle wax drops to pages 28-31. Publisher's printed wrappers, advertisements printed on wrapper versos; spine sympathetically restored, with chips and losses to backstrip and short closed tears along joints, moderate edgewear and soiling, lower wrapper creased.


The scarce first paperback edition, abridged from the original text, featuring the first printed illustration of Dracula.
