Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso (otherwise blank) of first and second works. (Small damp stain to F6 in second work.)

binding: Seventeenth-century French red morocco (152 x 99 mm), frame of three gilt fillets, inner frame of three gilt fillets with vases of flowers at outer corners, spine with raised bands in six compartments, each richly gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt edges. (Small portion of loss to head of spine, joints restored with original spine preserved.)
