1) Six Sonatas for the Harpsichord with Accompanyments for Violin or German Flute, and Violoncello...Opera. II [score], London: for the author, no date [c.1760], 40 pages, folio (c.33.5 x 24cm), engraved music and title, printed subscribers' list and privilege, Dolmetsch Library stamp and pencil shelfmark ("II C 31"), disbound, damp-staining and some small tears, with paper loss, title-page detached

2) Six Sonatas For Two Violins, or a German Flute and Violin, with a Thorough Bass for the Harpsichord...Opera III [violin I and violin II parts], London: for the author [c.1765], [bass part:] Robert Bremner, for the author, [c.1770], 11 (bass), 13 (violin I), and 11 (violin II) pages, folio (violin I and violin II: c.27 x 22.5cm; bass: c.32.5 x 23.5cm), Dolmetsch Library stamp and pencil shelfmark ("II C 32"), engraved throughout, bass part disbound, other parts with old stitching, spine of bass part strengthened, violin I part without title, violin parts trimmed to plate

These are the first three publications of Abel's music in London. The Op. 1 symphonies were published in Amsterdam, before the composer's arrival in England.
