of sectional form in four parts, the sea god Neptune stood in a large clam-shell chariot drawn by two hippocampi, with the nereid Thetis and two sea nymphs in attendance, three triton and dolphins and a sea beat emerging from the waves among shells, upon a gilt-edged base molded with stiff leaf and scallop shells, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised No1 or No.1. and letter N, impressed numerals 50, 96 or 69, 143 and 160, two pieces numeral 18. in black enamel
