inscribed Bai Shou Tu [Hundred images of longevity] on top and with hundred longevity characters Shou embroidered beneath, and Rén qī zhì jìn sān róngqìng along one border [Auspicious wishes on the occasion of a seventy third birthday], all embroidered in gold thread on a red silk ground
