Three blue-ground five-clawed 'dragons' kesi hangings

Qing dynasty, 19th century

each converted from either the front or back section of a formal kesi robe, jifu and framed with embroidered silk sections, decorated with three five-clawed dragons, the central dragon encircling a 'flaming pearl' and writhing en face among clouds interspersed with auspicious objects and longevity medallions, all above two attendant dragons below
