8vo (166 x 98 mm). Greek type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: A-Z8 AA-MM8 NN10: 290 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso, one line of early manuscript text at foot of B6. (Occasional light foxing, last few leaves slightly stained.)


binding: Contemporary blind-tooled Flemish calf (172 x 105 mm), inhabited roll-tooled border with the date 1526, spine with blind ruling along bands, plain edges, stubs from two pairs of ties, in modern buckram drop-backed box. (Calf delaminating, binding somewhat rubbed, rebacked retaining original spine, new endpapers.)
