Description
Jamie Reid
No Future sticker
gummed label (133 x 70mm.)
Reid pioneered the use of stickers as informal artwork and ephemeral propaganda in his countercultural work for the Suburban Press earlier in the 1970s. The slogan "No Future" derives from the lyrics of God Save the Queen - it was in fact the song's original title - and became one of the central phrases of punk ideology.
