In the 1960s, Edwin and Cherie Silver began assembling an impressive collection of classical African, Pre-Columbian, Oceanic, and American Indian art. Highlights include one of the greatest collections of Kota sculpture ever assembled, an astonishingly powerful Seven-Headed Ijo statue from Nigeria, and a fine group of West African masks. The Collection will be offered 13 November in New York.
