The Italian Baroque features strongly, along with the Dutch and Flemish schools which are well represented by some fine still lifes and interior scenes. Highlights of the sale include a rediscovered Sassoferrato and a portrait of Charles I by Van Dyck’s studio, as well as a charming landscape by the father of Italian view painting, Vanvitelli.
