Both panels are flat and uncradled. Both have fairly recently been cleaned and restored and appear in good overall condition. The paint surface in both is well preserved, with only a few local repairs in evidence, including some srengthenings to the horizon lines and both skies. The varnish remains glossy and even. The restoration has been well carried out and neither picture will require further attention. Offered in faux tortoiseshell and ebonised wood frames in good condition.
