A new year heralds a fresh season of auctions and exhibitions. Launching our 2026 programme, Modern & Contemporary Art comes to The Singapore EDITION on 25 January, with a preview exhibition from 22 January, coinciding with Singapore Art Week – an annual highlight on the Lion City’s cultural calendar. Leading the sale are Raden Syarif Bustaman Saleh’s depiction of Mt Merapi erupting by day, Yoshitomo Nara’s coloured-pencil drawing In the Puddle, Marc Chagall’s dreamlike Couple et mimosas, Pacita Abad’s exuberant Assaulting the eye with Ecstasy, created using the artist’s signature mixed-media techniques, and Chu Teh-Chun’s arresting abstraction Demeure des songes.
Meanwhile, Sotheby’s Maison presents a new selling exhibition, Intimate Form: A Collection of Small-Scale Sculpture by Henry Moore. Making its Hong Kong debut, the exhibition brings together 40 maquettes—many small enough to fit in the palm of a hand—and will be on view from 15 January to 2 February. Also on view until 27 January is Heaven’s Mandate: Giuseppe Castiglione’s Auspicious Lotus for the Yongzheng Emperor, showcasing a painting closely tied to the legitimation of the emperor in the first year of his reign and marking the arrival of one of the most important Western painters at the Qing imperial court.
Alongside these exhibitions, explore Glow & Glamour, our pop-up presentation offering the perfect gift—or indulgence. An extension of our year-round Hong Kong Salon, it features a specially curated selection of exceptional handbags, jewellery and watches, all available for immediate purchase.
Stay tuned for further announcements of events in Hong Kong and across Asia.
