W ith spring just around the corner, we are delighted to announce the launch of the Wine & Spirits Festival – a new global initiative which will kick off in Hong Kong this March. At the heart of the festival are this season’s highly anticipated wine and spirit auctions including the single-owner collections: The Distinguished French Cellar from A Visionary Collector and The Magnificent Cellars of Willy Michiels | Part II, taking place on the 13 and 14 March, respectively. Complementing the auctions will be a curated series of Wine & Spirits masterclasses led by industry experts. Stay informed through the Wine & Spirits Festival website here.
Meanwhile, it is the final weeks to visit Sotheby’s Maison for Intimate Form: A Collection of Small-Scale Sculpture by Henry Moore before it concludes on 26 February. The selling exhibition brings together 40 maquettes—many small enough to fit in the palm of a hand. Also back on view from 4-26 February due to popular demand is Heaven’s Mandate: Giuseppe Castiglione’s Auspicious Lotus for the Yongzheng Emperor, showcasing a painting closely tied to the legitimation of the emperor in the first year of his reign and marking the arrival of one of the most important Western painters at the Qing imperial court.
Ongoing until 13 March is our pop-up presentation Glow & Glamour, offering the perfect gift—or indulgence. An extension of our year-round Hong Kong Salon, it features a specially curated selection of exceptional handbags, jewellery and watches, all available for immediate purchase.
Stay tuned for further announcements of events in Hong Kong and across Asia.
