Indian poet and philosopher Rabindranath Tagore, the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize for Literature, began his visual arts career at age 67. His portraits and landscapes from the collection of Anil Kumar Chanda and Ranee Chanda were offered on 18 March in the New York sale of Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art.
