Frank’s Files: Floral Jewels from Cartier, David Webb, and More

New York | 3-24 May

In this episode of Frank’s Files, Frank Everett introduces highlights from In Bloom: A Selling Exhibition of Floral Jewels, to be held from 3-24 May in New York. Curated in partnership with Carol Woolton, historian and Contributing Director of Jewelry of British Vogue, this magnificent selection of jewels traces the design motif of the flower all the way from the 19th century to the present. 73 pieces comprise the collection, with vintage floral designs from distinguished houses including Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and David Webb alongside exquisite pieces by leading contemporary designers from around the world like Shaun Leane, Fernando Jorge and Solange Azagury-Partridge. The In Bloom selling exhibition will be open to the public in Sotheby’s newly-expanded and reimagined galleries at 1334 York Avenue, alongside our marquee May auctions of Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Art.
