The sale of Tableaux, Sculptures, Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, which will take place on 15 June in Paris, will offer a very fine selection of French paintings, many of which have been rediscovered. Among them is a masterpiece by Antoine Caron, Judgment Day, in the vein of the Italian Mannerists. The chapter devoted to works of the 19th century is dominated by a very rare painting by Eugène Delacroix featuring a tiger on the look-out. Click ahead to see the highlights.
