Albert Anker, Fleissig / Appliquée, 1886.
Estimate CHF 1,000,000-1,500,000.

Ferdinand Hodler, Thunersee mit Blüemlisalp und Niesen.

Estimate CHF 400,000-600,000.

This painting of iconic status depicts the four children of the Golliez de Wippens family during their holidays in Grindelwald. The monumental composition is deeply influenced by “Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe” by Edouard Manet and reveals Biéler’s remarkable attention to decorative elements which complete the description of the landscape.

Peter Fischli & David Weiss, Schneefall.
Estimate CHF 100,000-150,000.

The conceptual work of the Swiss artist duo refers to the installation of the same by Joseph Beuys in 1965 and comprises everyday materials, with aesthetic references to Duchamp’s Readymades. The contemplation of an object which has avoided material use and exists as a pure art form in itself.

Estimate CHF 1,000,000-1,500,000.

Vallotton depicts his stepdaughter Madeleine reading in the Chalet Les Sapins, in Gruyère. The precise and detailed composition of a figure in an idyllic atmosphere brings to mind Dutch interior scenes.

Paul Camenisch, Berglandschaft mit Sertigdörfli (Davos), 1926.
Estimate CHF 100,000-150,000.

The small village of Sertig, near Davos, is depicted in the typical style of German expressionist movement but with an original combination of colours translating the winter atmosphere.

Giovanni Giacometti, Winter bei St.Moritz, 1916.
Estimate CHF 300,000-500,000.

Giacometti offers a grandiose experience of his mastery of colour and light in this landscape depicting the snow-covered slopes of Salastrains above St.Moritz with the Piz Margna in the background.

Piaget, White Gold Manual Winding Wristwatch with Bracelet, Circa 1975.
Estimate CHF 4,000-6,000.
