T his Spring, Sotheby’s London is delighted to present the Islamic, Orientalist & Middle Eastern Art sales, bringing together sought-after works spanning centuries, mediums and continents. Orientalist Art (28 April) features paintings depicting the landscapes and cultures of North Africa, Egypt, the Levant, Arabia and the Ottoman world of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Arts of the Islamic World & India (29 April) showcases outstanding works that reflect the exceptional craftsmanship and aesthetic traditions of Islamic art across diverse geographies. Modern & Contemporary Middle East (13-30 April) presents a curated selection by some of the region’s most significant artists from the Arab world, North Africa, Iran and Türkiye. Works from all three sales will be exhibited in Sotheby’s London galleries from 24–29 April.
