T he Collectors Sale features more than 50 artworks generously donated by artists, premier international galleries, and notable collectors. All proceeds support the Society for Contemporary Art in its commitment to furthering contemporary art through programming, acquisitions, exhibitions, and special initiatives at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Founded at the museum in 1940, the SCA promotes a better understanding and appreciation of the art of our time and has become one of the Art Institute of Chicago’s principal vehicles for exploring new and challenging art. SCA programs provide access to an exciting roster of leading national and international artists, dealers, critics, historians, and curators for both its members, and the public.
The Society for Contemporary Art is a 501(c)(3) organization.
