otheby’s Wine is delighted to open its 2025 sales in Hong Kong with the third chapter of this extraordinary Single Owner collection, sourced from one of the greatest private collections of DRC and Burgundy in the world: Romanée-Conti: The Masterpiece Collection Part III.
Sourced from a grand European cellar, with a legendary status as one of the continent’s most celebrated collections, the extraordinary wines offered herein were assembled by a highly-renowned connoisseur, with close and longstanding direct relationships with the Domaine itself. The three chapters of The Masterpiece Collection that Sotheby’s has been privileged to offer stand amongst the finest and most comprehensive collections of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti that the world has seen in recent years, and certainly with by far the most flawless provenance.
In line with the first two offerings from this brilliant cellar, there is incredible depth of DRC here, with more than 100 lots alone offered from this storied Domaine, spanning vintages from the 1970s to the early-2000s, including incredible large formats acquired directly from the Domaine. In fact, the stunning provenance is one of the most compelling selling-points of this impeccable collection. The wines being offered from this revered European cellar were, in the vast majority of cases, purchased on release directly from the Domaine’s agents and representatives in Switzerland and London, with a handful having been purchased only from the most reputable Sotheby’s Single Owner auctions of the 1990s and 2000s. All the bottles have been meticulously cared for since purchase, having lain unmoved in professional storage in Geneva.
Beyond the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti gems offered here, it is evident that this connoisseur has been a longstanding and passionate supporter of Burgundy as a whole, with an exceptional array of beautiful mature red and white Grand Crus and Premier Crus from Raveneau, Clos de Tart, Faiveley, and Bouchard, followed by an extensive selection of rarely-seen and incredibly-priced mature cuvées from the Hospices de Beaune.
Aside from Burgundy, on this third offering of The Masterpiece Collection, for the first time we also get a glimpse into the Bordeaux treasures that have been carefully stored for decades in these majestic vaults, including bottles, magnums and larger formats of Lafite, Latour, Petrus and Pichon-Lalande from the excellent 1970 and 1983 vintages.

就像同一窖藏在前兩場拍賣推出的傑出佳釀，本場精選的羅曼尼康帝瑰釀深度也令人嘆絕，雲集超過100項這個傳奇酒莊的珍絕佳品，年份橫跨1970年代至2000年代初，包括直接購自酒莊的大瓶裝珍釀。事實上，本場最矚目之處正是令人驚豔的拍品來源，場上絕大部分佳釀都是酒莊推出市面時，藏家直接從瑞士和英國的酒莊經銷商和供貨代表入手，亦有小部分拍品是藏家在1990年代至2000年代蘇富比單一藏家拍賣購得。所有洋酒自購入以來一直受到精心照料，妥為存放在日內瓦的專業倉庫。
除羅曼尼康帝佳釀外，本場亦反映藏家是一直熱愛布艮地出品的識酒之士，呈上來自Raveneau、Clos de Tart、Faiveley、Bouchard等名莊的特級園和一級園紅白葡萄酒，並有大量市面稀見、價格優越的伯恩濟貧院特釀，不容錯過。
此外，作為拍賣系列的第三章，本場首度呈獻已在藏家倉庫存放數十載的波爾多珍品，包括來自出色年份1970年和1983年的名莊珍釀，涵蓋拉菲古堡、拉圖堡、柏翠堡和碧尚女爵堡，瓶裝由750毫升標準裝、1.5公升裝至6公升大瓶裝不等。
