9½-inch latched dial signed along the lower edge Joseph Knibb Londini Fecit, winged cherub spandrels, matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the movement with five latched, knopped and ringed pillars, five wheel trains, anchor escapement, the large outside count wheel rotating once in 48-hours and striking on a bell, the associated case with flat top moulded cornice and spiral pilasters to the replaced rising hood, rectangular trunk door with lenticle,

the plinth with bun feet, the whole oyster veneered and crossbanded, with ebony and ebonised stringing and mouldings,
