We are pleased to present a curated selection of exquisite furniture and decorative arts from esteemed aristocratic and private collections.

A highlight of the sale is a fine pair of Roman breccia marble vases, gifted by Pope Pius VII to Admiral Viscount Exmouth in 1816. The auction also features elegant French furniture, including Régence fauteuils by Jean-Baptiste I Tilliard and Louis XVI pieces, such as a bureau plat in the manner of Montigny, formerly at Brinkburn Priory in Northumberland, and fauteuils by Georges and Henri Jacob.

Further highlights include a group of Dutch Delft blue and white and polychrome pottery from a distinguished Dutch collection, and silver tableware by Paul Storr and Benjamin Smith from the collection of Lord Newborough of Rhug Hall, Denbighshire. Silver features prominently in the auction, with a collection spanning from the Queen Anne period through to the 20th century, offered from a West Country manor house. Also from this collection is a set of George III chairs attributed to John Linnell, formerly at Inveraray Castle, the seat of the Dukes of Argyll.

Together, these collections form a rich and diverse offering, celebrating centuries of design, artistry, and collecting heritage.
