Patek Philippe marked its 175th anniversary with a series of exclusive commemorative timepieces, including the highly sought-after reference 5975 Multi-Scale Chronograph. Produced in a strictly limited run of just 400 examples in pink gold, this exceptional wristwatch showcases three logarithmic scales: a tachymeter for measuring speed, a telemeter for calculating distance, and a pulsometer for tracking heart rate.

Beyond its functional appeal, the multi-scale chronograph design carries strong historical resonance, having been especially popular during the era of the World War II. In this sense, reference 5975 stands as both a technical instrument and a tribute to horological heritage, reinterpreted for the modern collector.

At the heart of the watch lies the CH 28-520 self-winding movement, developed specifically for this model. This sophisticated calibre features a traditional column wheel to control the chronograph functions, along with an advanced disk clutch system that minimizes friction and allows the central chronograph hand to run continuously as a seconds display.

Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of at least 50 hours, the movement reflects the pinnacle of precision engineering.
