With the launch of the RM 67-02 collection, Richard Mille takes a step further to achieve technical sophistication using ground-breaking innovations. Specifically developed for optimum comfort and dynamic lines, the watch is made in a combination of ultra-special materials that weighs a mind-blowing 32 grams. Being the lightest automatic watch of the brand, it creates a sports watch that is in partnership with the world’s most elite sportsmen.

This edition of the RM 67-02 is made for South African sprinter Wayde van Niekerk who is an uncontested 400-metre Olympic champion and world record holder in 2016. The bezel and case back having a remarkable damascene appearance are made in yellow and green Quartz TPT. Together with the hand-painted bridges, it not only resembles the colours of the South African flag but emits incredible aesthetics that distinguishes itself from other pieces in the collection.

A pure satisfaction to look at, the skeletonised movement allows a full view of the calibre CRMA7 with baseplate and movement bridges forged in Grade 5 titanium. In black DLC treatment, they were tested in Richard Mille’s highest standards which lends great rigidity and offers extreme durability. In excellent condition and first time appearing in auction, the watch possess the brand’s most recognized silhouettes with exceptional watchmaking technology.
