Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed RM002, the RM003 tonneau-shaped tourbillon wristwatch incorporates an optically coated sapphire glass disc to display the second time zone. The numerals are visible only against a white background at 3 o’clock, and the second time zone can be easily adjusted using a pusher on the side of the band.

The RM003 features several unusual and sophisticated technical innovations at the time it was released, including a movement base plate in carbon nanofiber, torque indicator, variable inertia balance, fast rotating barrel and function selector. All these advanced developments were not simply created to optimize the performance of the watches, but also to enhance their precision and reliability. When combined with the technical elegance of the tourbillon and the usability of the quick-set second time zone, the watch becomes not only a mechanical marvel, but a beautiful and easy-to-use timekeeper.
