Description

the first, rectangular with rounded corners, all sides engine-turned, the angles in the same pattern in orthogonal direction, plain slender thumbpiece, maker’s mark rubbed, otherwise fully hallmarked including standard mark for 18 ct gold, in a modern green leather case; length 8cm., 3 1/8 in.;

the second, rectangular with waisted sides, all sides decorated with geometric engine-turning within wavy moiré engine-turned borders, the lid centred with a plain circular cartouche, applied scrollwork thumbpiece, fully hallmarked including standard mark for 18 ct gold, length 7cm., 2 ¾ in.
