Description
the first, cut-cornered rectangular, the caramel-coloured hardstone body with stepped gold mounts, apparently unmarked, length 7.6cm.; 3 in.
the second, elongated rectangular with cut corners, the opal matrix body mounted in chased rose-gold mounts applied with a gold thumbpiece in the form of crossed leafy branches, apparently unmarked, length 7.5cm.; 3 in.
the third, cartouche-shaped, the bevelled lid, stepped sides and base of mottled dusky pink, grey and anthracite hardstone, chased foliate gold mounts on a sablé ground and plain rose gold border, a later applied pale yellow gold chased leaf mount around the lid, apparently unmarked, length 6.9cm.; 2 3/4 in.
