oval, the lid set with an oval enamel plaque painted with Columbine and Pulcinella, on a gold ground engraved with medallions of musical trophies and flowers sprays, within leafy borders, maker's mark MC crowned within two leafy further leafy marks, the left rim numbered: 491,
