oval, all sides decorated with translucent scarlet enamel over concentric engine-turning, within black and gold taille d'épargne enamel borders, the sides further embellished with lozenge dividers flanked by opaque white and pistachio green enamel bands, traces of a mark to lid, possibly a Hanau 18K mark, the right rim with the Hanau shell control mark for 18ct gold,
