the surface of translucent blush-pink enamel over wavy engine-turning, applied with chased gold swags connected by rose-cut diamonds, the upper and lower sections decorated with opaque white enamel bands crossed with gold ribbons, surmounted by a cabochon chrysoprase, the interior silver-gilt, struck to inside lid with workmaster's initials, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 16074
