Description
the exterior vibrantly enamelled in iron red, yellow, green, and pale turquoise with a dragon and a phoenix divided by scrolling lotus between iron-red line borders, the interior with a gently domed centre enclosing a matching dragon and phoenix medallion, encircled by an underglaze-blue band of babao (Eight Treasures) borne on a meandering lingzhi scroll, the slightly recessed base inscribed in iron red with a six-character Da Ming Longqing nian zao reign mark within a double circle and encircled by an unglazed footring
